Everybody loses track of time sometimes. But what happens when you’re late to an important formal event or even for your own party? This quick and not at all complicated tutorial will definitely do the trick!
Here’s what you need:
- Elastics
- Bobby pins
- Hair spray
- Curling iron (Optional)
- Clips (Optional)
Here’s how to get the look:
- Start off by curling your hair for some. The purpose for this is to give you a better grip when attempting the following steps. This step is optional and you should skip it to save time.
- Next, section your hair from one ear to the other and clip up the upper half with one of your clips.
- Make three simple braids from the bottom section of your hair. You can loosen up the braids a little if you’d like.
- After that, use some bobby pins to pin up the braids into a bun. Use as many bobby pins as you like to secure it in place. You can cross or weave them over each other. Whatever floats your boat! ;)
- Now, remove the clip holding the upper section of your hair. Separate it into two sections and then braid them. You can choose to do a simple braid again or a french braid, fishtail braid or any other braid that you fancy. The world is your oyster! After you’re done, secure them both with an elastic.
- Now that you’re done with the braiding, you can start to pin both the side braids down using more bobby pins. Tuck the excess braid/hair into the bun you made in step 4.
- Finish off the look with some hair spray and you’re good to go!
